Ichendorf Milano
Die Geschichte des Unternehmens Ichendorf begann im frühen 20. Jahrhundert in einer kleinen Stadt in der Nähe von Köln namens Quadrath-Ichendorf. Dort verwendeten viele Glasermeister eine Mischung von Substanzen, darunter Kieselsäure, um Objekten eine Form zu geben, die dem raffinierten Geschmack dieser Zeit entsprach. Ein von kostbaren Ornamenten geprägter Stilcode, spielte bis in die fünfziger Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts die Hauptrolle der Kollektionen. Dann wurde eine sehr wichtige Änderung eingeführt: die Bevorzugung klarer Formen und Reinheit des Materials. Alte Formen und Verzierungen wurden abgeschafft.
